🕊️🕊️🕊️THE LION OF THE TRIBE OF JUDAH HAS ALREADY CONQUERED — THE IRREVOCABLE DOMINION OF THE SLAIN LAMB WHO RETURNS AS THE RIGHTEOUS KING
“ But one of the elders said to me, ‘Do not weep. Behold, the Lion of the tribe of Judah, the Root of David, has prevailed to open the scroll and to loose its seven seals.’ ” — Book of Revelation 5:5 NKJV
The eternal decree of Heaven has already been established through the triumph of Jesus Christ, the Lion of the tribe of Judah, the Root of David, the Lamb slain before the foundation of the world, the risen Messiah, and the coming King who shall judge the living and the dead in righteousness. The victory of Jesus Christ is not future speculation, conditional possibility, symbolic mythology, or incomplete spiritual aspiration. The conquest has already been secured through His sinless life, sacrificial death, bodily resurrection, glorious ascension, and eternal enthronement at the right hand of the Father. Heaven has rendered its verdict. Hell has already
suffered its decisive defeat. Sin has been judged. Death has been pierced. Satan has been stripped of ultimate authority. The Lamb who was slain has prevailed forever.
The foundation of this truth is eternally established by the Word of God. “Behold, the Lion of the tribe of Judah, the Root of David, has prevailed.” — Book of Revelation 5:5 NKJV. The term “prevailed” is Heaven’s judicial proclamation of absolute conquest. Christ did not merely resist evil. Christ conquered evil. Christ did not merely endure suffering. Christ triumphed through suffering. Christ did not negotiate with darkness. Christ disarmed principalities and powers openly. “Having disarmed principalities and powers, He made a public spectacle of them, triumphing over them in it.” — Epistle to the Colossians 2:15 NKJV. The Cross was not defeat. The Cross was divine conquest concealed beneath sacrificial bloodshed. The resurrection was not symbolic recovery. The resurrection was Heaven’s irreversible declaration that Jesus Christ alone possesses dominion over death, hell, the grave, and all creation.
The prophetic foundation of the Lion of Judah was established long before His incarnation into the earth. “Judah is a lion’s whelp… The scepter shall not depart from Judah, nor a lawgiver from between his feet, until Shiloh comes.” — Book of Genesis 49:9-10 NKJV. The authority of Christ is covenantal, royal, eternal, and unbreakable. The Lion imagery reveals dominion, kingship, judgment, authority, conquest, and irresistible power. The Lamb imagery reveals sacrifice, redemption, atonement, mercy, and reconciliation. Both realities exist perfectly within Jesus Christ simultaneously. The Lamb who shed His Blood for sinners is the Lion who returns to judge rebellion. Mercy and judgment converge perfectly within the holiness of God.
“Therefore the Lord Himself will give you a sign: Behold, the virgin shall conceive and bear a Son, and shall call His name Immanuel.” — Book of Isaiah 7:14 NKJV. The incarnation of Jesus Christ was divine intervention into fallen creation. Immanuel means “God with us.” The eternal Word entered human history clothed in flesh, not to coexist with sin, but to destroy the works of the devil. “For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that He might destroy the works of the devil.” — First Epistle of John 3:8 NKJV. Christ entered the earth through humility, yet He possesses eternal majesty. He came first as the suffering servant foretold by the prophets, bearing the sins of many. He returns as the conquering King whose eyes are “like a flame of fire.” — Book of Revelation 19:12 NKJV.
The triumph of Jesus Christ over sin stands as the central axis of all redemptive history. Sin entered through Adam’s rebellion, but righteousness entered through the obedience of Christ. “For as by one man’s disobedience many were made sinners, so also by one Man’s obedience many will be made righteous.” — Epistle to the Romans 5:19 NKJV. Jesus Christ fulfilled the righteous requirements of the Law perfectly and without corruption. Satan found no legal claim in Him. Death found no corruption in Him. The grave could not retain Him because He is the
Author of life itself. Therefore, every chain forged by sin was shattered through the Blood of the Lamb.
The Lamb who was slain now possesses exclusive authority to open the scroll and loose its seven seals because all authority belongs to Him alone. “And Jesus came and spoke to them, saying, ‘All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth.’ ” — The Gospel of Matthew 28:18 NKJV. No angel possesses this authority. No man possesses this authority. No principality possesses this authority. The scroll represents the divine administration of judgment, redemption, inheritance, justice, and the consummation of God’s eternal plan. Only the sinless, victorious, resurrected Christ possesses the worthiness to execute Heaven’s decrees over creation.
The Lion of Judah is not passive toward rebellion. “And the remnant of Jacob shall be among the Gentiles, in the midst of many peoples, like a lion among the beasts of the forest, like a young lion among flocks of sheep, who, if he passes through, both treads down and tears in pieces, and none can deliver.” — Book of Micah 5:8 NKJV. The holiness of God is not negotiable. Divine judgment is not suspended indefinitely. The patience of God reveals mercy, but the righteousness of God guarantees judgment against unrepentant wickedness. The returning Christ shall not appear again bearing the suffering of Calvary. He shall appear clothed in glory, crowned with many crowns, and proceeding in divine judgment against all rebellion.
“Now I saw heaven opened, and behold, a white horse. And He who sat on him was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness He judges and makes war.” — Book of Revelation 19:11 NKJV. The returning Lion executes righteous judgment because His throne is established upon perfect holiness. His warfare is not corrupted by injustice, deception, or unrighteous anger. Every act of divine judgment proceeds from perfect truth. Every enemy opposing Christ shall ultimately bow beneath His authority. “That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of those in heaven, and of those on earth, and of those under the earth.” — Epistle to the Philippians 2:10 NKJV.
The violation of this truth is exposed through every doctrine, philosophy, ideology, and spirit that denies the supremacy, deity, victory, and coming judgment of Jesus Christ. Every system that minimizes sin contradicts the Cross. Every system that rejects repentance rebels against divine holiness. Every spirit that denies Christ’s authority aligns itself against the throne of God. “Who is a liar but he who denies that Jesus is the Christ?” — First Epistle of John 2:22 NKJV. The spirit of antichrist opposes the exaltation of Jesus Christ because Satan’s rebellion has always sought to dethrone divine authority. Yet Heaven has already decreed the final outcome. The Lamb has prevailed. The Lion reigns. The Kingdom belongs to Christ forever.
